Classroom: Lower Elementary

Ms. Kirby began teaching at MCH in 2001. Helen earned a B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Louisiana State University, her state of Iowa K-6 certification, her Montessori certification for the 3-6 year old age group and her International Montessori Lower Elementary Teaching Diploma. She is also certified in First Aid, CPR, Universal Precautions, Essentials and Mandatory Reporting.

Helen’s interests are music, ancient cultures, archeology, hiking, learning new recipes, ADHD and Autism awareness, sustainable architecture and agriculture.
